PARAPRO ASSESSMENT

The ParaPro Assessment is a general aptitude test for paraprofessionals/educational aides working with students in a school district. The ParaPro Assessment measures skills and knowledge in reading, writing and math and the test taker's ability to apply these skills and knowledge when assisting in classroom instruction.

PARAPRO ASSESSMENT FAQ

How long is the ParaPro Assessment?
The test is a computerized assessment in which individuals have 2.5 hours to answer 90 multiple-choice questions.

Can I use a calculator in the math section?
No, calculators or any device with a calculator can not be used during the assessment.

How much does the assessment cost and where do I take it?
The ParaPro exam costs $60 and can be paid by cash or check.
The exam is given at the Educational Service Center of Eastern Ohio in Canfield, Ohio.

How do I register for the exam?

When do I receive my score?
You will receive your score immediately after testing is completed. Your scores will be sent to the Ohio Department of Education so that you can obtain your Educational Aide licensure.
